About the event

In a world driven by consumerism, this workshop aims to address the pervasive issues of overconsumption and Compulsive Buying Disorder (CBD). This interactive and enlightening program provides participants with insights, strategies, and coping mechanisms to regain control over their consumption habits and lead a more balanced, fulfilling life.

About India Purnell, LMSW

A native of Los Angeles, California, India received her undergraduate degrees in Social Work and Psychology as well as her Master's degree in Social Work from Arizona State University. As a licensed professional, India specializes in behavior analysis and infuses her therapeutic background in a way that allows her to individualize the client experience. With her education in psychology and social work, India works to promote positive body imaging through wardrobe and address the interpersonal trauma that our wardrobe manifests. India guides her clients towards being comfortable with “stepping outside of their comfort zone- in style”.  In addition to her work as a practicing psychotherapist and styling career, she is also an instructor for Arizona State University’s Stress Management Tool I elective course since the Fall of 2019.
