About the event
Building Secure Foundations Through Play is a developmentally grounded birth-to-five play therapy intensive that helps clinicians deepen their understanding of how young children communicate, connect, and regulate through play. Blending the Therapeutic Powers of Play with attachment theory and relational neuroscience, this training uses video examples, hands-on activities, and guided reflection to explore how preverbal and early symbolic play reveal a child’s needs and developmental stage. Clinicians will learn how to integrate sensory-rich and relationally attuned interventions, strengthen caregiver insight through reflective practice, and document early childhood behavior with developmentally informed language—ensuring they leave with practical, embodied skills they can immediately use in both child-only and caregiver–child sessions.
Learning Objectives
Participants will be able to:
