About the event
Listen, when working with children we know that you can’t just put a kid on a couch and get them to start talking – it’s hard enough to do that with adults! That’s one of the reasons utilizing play interventions in therapy is so effective, because it gets kiddos engaged in the play, and through that process, they open up to what they’re feeling and experiencing. But once they’ve opened up, what’s your foundation for understanding what they’re sharing?
In this training with child and adolescent specialist Erica Tatum-Sheade, LCSW, you will learn how to incorporate CBT Techniques with young children, school-aged children, and adolescents. This training will cover the basics of CBT and will provide examples of hands-on activities to use in practice with children and adolescents that have been proven to work with Erica’s clients and many more.
Participants will receive 3 CE Credits at the end of the workshop
